About Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Biomedical Manufacturing Industry

The CCP for Biomedical Manufacturing Industry aims to help mid-career new hires or existing employees to reskill (PMETs and/or Rank-and-Files), who will undergo On-the-Job Training (OJT) to take on growth job roles with good long-term prospects.

Difference between PMET and RnF

PMET

PMET* roles encompass strategic decision-making, planning, and operational management.

Rank-and-File

Rank-and-file roles usually involve tasks that are more manual operational and labour-intensive.

This programme also aims to empower existing employees, including PMETs and Rank-and-File, to adapt to redesigned and enhanced roles during business transformations through targeted training and reskilling.

*PMET stands for Professionals, Managers, Executives & Technicians.

Two modes of training: Place-and-Train, Job Redesign Reskilling

Place-and-Train

(For New Hires)

Companies to recruit and reskill mid-career individuals to support business growth.

Job Redesign Reskilling(JRR)

(For Existing Employees)

Companies undergoing business transformation have the option to enroll eligible employees under the JRR mode and equip them with new skills that enable them to take on new or redesigned job roles.
