Salary Support

STANDARD RATE

  • Up to 70% of monthly salary for CCP training duration,
  • Capped at $5,000 per month.

ENHANCED RATES

  • Up to 90% of monthly salary* for CCP training duration,
  • Capped at $7,500 per month.

*For Singaporean Citizens/Permanent Residents (PR) who are unemployed and have been actively seeking employment for six months or more, and/or are aged 40 years and above in the year of commencement of the CCP.

Programme Details

This CCP equips individuals with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in SME environments through a blend of intensive training and hands-on experience.

Fast-Track Onboarding: The 3-day workshop familiarizes new hires with SME work culture, foundational business skills, and career planning. This ensures a seamless transition for new hires while boosting operational efficiency for SMEs.

Immersive On-The-Job Training (OJT): Over 3 months, new hires gain practical, role-specific experience through tailored OJT plans. We provide ready-to-use templates to help SMEs design effective OJT plans, ensuring new employees are fully prepared to excel in their roles.

Eligibility Criteria

SMEs*

  1. Companies registered or incorporated in Singapore;
  2. Employment size of not more than 200; OR with annual sales turnover of not more than S$100 million;
  3. Must be able to offer full time employment with a fixed monthly salary of at least $3,500 and offer employment contract on permanent terms or on contract terms that are no less than one (1) year;
  4. Must put in place structured OJT for the candidate;
  5. Must commit to CCP training arrangements for the trainees;
  6. Must complete an assessment of the company's human capital (HC) practices using Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP)'s Human Capital Diagnostic Tool (HCDT); and
  7. Be committed to work with WSG or its appointed programme partners on the necessary admin matters related to the programme.

PMETs

  1. Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident keen to pursue a full-time career in an SME;
  2. Have graduated or completed National Service at least 2 years prior at the point of application;
  3. New job role trained for under the CCP should be substantially different from previous job role;
    OR
  4. In a similar role previously but was from a non-SME prior to joining the company
  5. Newly hired PMET must enroll into the programme within first 3-month of their employment start date
  6. Must not be connected to the CCP participating company
    1. Shareholder of CCP company or its related companies;
    2. Related to the owners of the CCP company; and
    3. Immediate ex-staff of the CCP company or related entities.
