Partnership Signing with A*STAR’s Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech)

To enable more companies to acquire know-how to boost productivity and nurture their people to be in-house productivity champions, SIMTech signed a partnership agreement with Workforce Advancement Federation (WAF) at the MPTC Annual Conference 2016 held on 12 October to signify the ongoing close collaboration between both organisations since early this year.

Under this agreement, SIMTech will provide OmniMethodology™ training to their business associates and members respectively, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to improve productivity.

Jointly developed by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and SIMTech, OmniMethodology™ is targeted at Professionals, Managers and Executives (PMEs) as well as senior management personnel. The programme is designed for companies, particularly Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing and service sectors. OmniMethodology™ incorporates classroom and practical sessions to systematically teach participants to identify operational productivity issues and overcome them.

This methodology enables companies to continuously review its operations for productivity improvement, as well as to develop in-house productivity champions.
