Career Conversion Programme for SME Executives


The CCP for SME Executives helps PMETs to reskill and take on new job roles in SMEs, while supporting SMEs to recruit and train the right talent for their companies. 

SMEs that meet the eligible criteria and hire new PMETs can benefit from a fully sponsored 3 days virtual workshop, along with salary support of up to 90%* of the PMET’s salary. Additionally, the program includes a structured On-The-Job training (OJT) for a period of 3 months.

Programme Details and Duration

The Programme for the CCP encompasses a structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) component. PMETs will undergo comprehensive OJT throughout the designated duration of the programme.

This immersive learning experience is designed to enhance their capabilities and facilitate a smooth transition into their new positions. By actively engaging in practical training, PMETs will acquire valuable skills and knowledge that directly align with the requirements of their roles, ensuring a solid foundation for success.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the CCP for SME Executives, PMETs employed by companies must meet the following criteria:

-Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

-Minimum age of 21

-Graduated or completed National Service at least 2 years* prior to CCP application.

-Full time employment or contract terms that are no less than 1 year.

-Minimum gross salary of $2,700

-New job role trained for under the CCP should be substantially different from previous job role; and/or

-Has held a similar role previously but was from a non-SME prior to joining the company.
